Hi, I’m Saumitra Das, but most know me by my nickname—Showmo. What started as a curious passion has now become a full-fledged career in visual storytelling. My journey is a blend of unexpected turns and relentless pursuit of creative excellence.

I hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business, and my initial career path was rooted in Media, IT, and corporate sectors. Since childhood, however, I’ve always been captivated by technology, gadgets, and the endless possibilities they offered. Little did I know that this fascination would eventually lead me to the world of photography and filmmaking.

In 2014, something shifted. At the peak of my career, I found myself picking up a camera out of curiosity and sheer joy—capturing moments not with any grand plan, but simply for the love of it. It started as a hobby, but soon the feedback from my audience, clients, friends, and family pushed me to take my passion more seriously. Their encouragement motivated me to develop a unique style and approach, blending creativity with storytelling.

In 2016, fueled by this passion and the overwhelming response I received, I founded my own creative ventures—Boss Man Digital, a digital marketing agency, Boss Man Film, a production agency, and Boss Man Food, a specialized food marketing agency. What began as a solo venture has now grown into a collaborative effort with over 30 creative minds working under the Boss Man banner. The journey has been nothing short of a fairytale, and though we’ve come far, I believe the best is yet to come.

My ultimate aspiration is to create films that leave a profound and lasting impact, sparking inspiration in those who experience them. For me, storytelling is more than just a passion—it’s a calling that drives every aspect of my creative journey. I believe in the power of visuals and narratives to connect, move, and inspire.

My motto has always been to craft something meaningful, not only for personal fulfillment but also for those who trust me with their visions. Every project I take on is a collaboration, a shared dream brought to life with creativity, dedication, and a deep commitment to excellence.
